    Ingredients
    10 pieces of chicken legs ( about 4-5 pounds)
    1½-2 teaspoons salt, adjust to preference
    ½ -1 tablespoon hot sauce
    3-4 cloves garlic, crushed
    2-3 teaspoons Creole seasoning
    4 cups buttermilk (for both marinating and coating)
    Coating
    3 cups all-purpose flour
    1 cup cornstarch
    2 teaspoons baking powder
    1 tablespoon paprika
    2 tablespoons garlic powder
    2 tablespoon onion powder
    1-1½ tablespoons dried herbs (thyme, oregano, parsley, etc.)
    1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
    1 teaspoon white pepper
    1 teaspoon salt, adjust to taste
    Oil for deep frying ( 11/2 – 1 3/4 inch of your pan or fryer)
